REVIEW: Stone Coal Sober

Stone coal sober

Holler and Glow

Retail price $2.99

holler and glow.jpgDescription from Packaging:

Wash away your sings with this clarifying face mask powered by:

Charcoal, tomato extract, black mulberry extract

Before opening, thoroughly rub the pouch to activate bubbles. Remove the sheet from the sachet and gently unfold. Bubbles will form on the black sheet. Apply to clean skin. After 15-20 minutes, remove the mask and tissue off balance.

Initial Thoughts:

  • Super cute packaging, main reason I bought it
  • Foaming mask but not too intense like others – which have been really overwhelming I feel like the bubbles are gonna choke me and they always get into my mouth, this one is tame
  • The smell is different, its not good but its not bad it kind of smells like a cleaning supply I cant put my nose on it though
  • The bubbles literally feel like 100 tiny hands are washing your face for you , kind of tickles

Surprisingly not many suds were on my face nor did I really have to wipe off and excess

Left skin :

  • Super clean
  • Nice glow
  • No redness or irritations

Final thoughts

Have zero complaints with this one. Great price, cute packaging, and left my skin squeaky clean with a nice glow. Definite recommend from me!

Review: Vitalizing Mask Pack

yadahFacetory december mask 4 out of 4

Vitalizing Mask Pack

Brand Yadah

Retail price $3

Description on Packaging:

Punica Granatum Fruit Extract is riched in vitamin A and vitamin B that help to create healthy looking skin and support skin elasticity. Use 2 – 3 times per week to maintain clear and vivid skin.

  • defiantly wouldn’t pick this up in the store – the girl on the packaging looks mean, kind of pissed off – overall the color of the pouch and the girl are very uninventing
  • Applying the mask and feeling the silky smooth serum/ sheet on my skin made me forget all about the stench
  • Ok I understand now why her face is stank, the smell of this mask is awful. Smells like moldy old socks (I don’t know what moldy socks actually smell like but if I had to take a guess it’s the same as this mask)
  • Feels hydrating
  • Soothing
  • No irritation

Left skin :

  • with a slim – like texture
  • Didn’t soak in the skin at all, serum beaded up – mostly on forehead
  • Pores look noticeably larger

Final thoughts

Honestly one of the worst sheet mask’s I’ve ever used. DO NOT recommend. Not happy at all with this one, In fact this is my #1 most hated mask I’ve ever used. Need I say more?

This week in;

Sheet, I went overboard … again.

I was at CVS minute clinic and after had to pick up a prescription at the pharmacy. On my 2ft walk over I passed a Peach Slices ‘Travel’ sheet mask, which

  1. I’ve never seen before
  2. Big fan of the brand
  3. Only thought target sold it

how cute is the hello kitty in the back?

It was in the travel section with all the sample size products, so, having no self-control – I headed over to the cosmetics aisle. Long story short I left with 7 sheet mask. Did I stop there? Nope! I went back the next day and picked up 3 more for good (no) reason.

Btw Shoutout to CVS, they’re re-doing their beauty section getting new, cute brands, — speaking of, check out – I added a whole lot of amazing sheet mask the other day!
