If you go to any luxury department store and walk through the cosmetics department the chances are you have come across La Mer. If you’re familiar with La Mer then you’re familiar with there large price tags but what you might not know is the background story.
After being severely burned by an experiment gone wrong, Physicist DR. Huber had a mission to cure his burn scars. He was inspired by the sea and fermented sea kelp along with other natural ingredients. 12 years and 6,000 experiments later, Crème de la Mer was born and Dr. Huber was scar free.
Interesting right? Anyway, now for the review:

Luxurious cream? ✓ (this stuff is extremely thick all you need is a dab and your good for the day) deeply soothes? ✓ Moisturizes and heals away dryness? ✓ (I used it after a laser treatment that leaves your face extremely dry and flakey, but slather this on and your good to go for the whole day. Skin looks naturally vibrant, restored to its healthiest center? ✓
This crème definitely lives up to the description and personally, I think its worth the money. With that said It defiantly isn’t a necessity and I would only recommend it to someone I know can afford it. There are without a doubt other moisturizers out there that can get the job done and cost a fraction of the price. Also, it’s not suitable for all year wear because of how dense it is, you wouldn’t want to be wearing this stuff in the hot heat. So if you’re in the market for some expensive and effective moisturizer, id say give it a go! And if your not in the market I would advise you to at least go to a store that sells it and get a sample, the scent alone will woo-ya!
